What is party level in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Your party level is independent of each character’s level in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and only increases when you gain party experience. Unlike regular experience points, you can only earn Party XP by completing certain tasks in the open world – not by fighting battles or boss fights.

Leveling up your party unlocks new tomes for each character. In the tomes, you can spend SP to learn new skills, including synergistic skills, synergistic abilities, and convenient magic attacks that don’t require MP. The latter abilities quickly become important when facing bosses with certain elemental weaknesses, including Midgardsormr, and limited access to magic and MP regeneration.

Character tomes are unlocked simultaneously as the group reaches new levels. You can reset someone’s skills at any time for free, so there’s no harm in experimenting with different abilities to see what suits your needs best.

How to Level Up Final Fantasy 7 Revival Party Level

Party XP can only be obtained from a few missions, the most common of which are found in the open world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Considering how useful some of your folio’s abilities are and how quickly the difficulty of combat increases, you might want to take some time and master a few of these moves to unlock more skills and make combat more manageable.

Complete World Intel missions

All of Chadley’s World Intelligence requests reward you with 5 Party XP, and there’s no shortage of things Android Shinra wants you to do outside of Midgar. However, some World Intel tasks are a little more trouble than they’re worth, at least from Party XP’s perspective.

Protorelic quests, for example, take a long time to complete. You should still complete them, but if you’re trying to level up your party, focus on Life Sources, Combat Data, and Excavation Data first.

Activate Remnawave towers

Activating Remnawave Towers technically falls under World Intel, but this action is important enough to deserve its own mention. In addition to the regular 5 Party XP you receive for completing World Intel missions, you also receive other nearby World Intel locations marked on your map.

Activating Remnawave Towers is an effective way to determine which actions you can quickly complete before moving on to something else. You can usually also find Moogle Medals in each Remnawave Tower.

Complete side quests

Completing side quests of all kinds rewards you with a small amount of Party XP, and while they take longer than Chadley’s requests, they are worth the time. complete them. Side quests usually take you to new parts of the region’s map – including chocobo stops for fast travel – or lead you to Queen’s Blood players or other important NPCs.

Progress in the main story

You will receive 10 party experience points for completing story milestones. This is the most Party XP you can get from any activity, but these milestones are limited and take a long time to achieve. Don’t rely on this method alone to level up your party.
