How to evolve Tyrogue in Pokémon GO

Tyrogue in Pokémon GO will evolve like any other Pokémon in the game.

You only need to give it 25 Candies for it to evolve. However, its evolutionary line has three options: Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Hitmontop.

Tyrogue will evolve into one of the three automatically depending on his highest stat. This value can vary from one Pokémon to another, so you will have a good chance of getting any of the three fighting Pokémon.

These are all the possible options when evolving into Tyrogue:

  • If its highest stat is Attack, it evolves into Hitmonlee
  • If its highest stat is Defense, it evolves into Hitmochan
  • If its highest stat is HP, it evolves into Hitmontop

In the event that one or more of these statistics are the same, the evolution will be chosen randomly.

These are Tyrogue’s base stats in Pokémon GO:

  • Attack: 64
  • Defense: 64
  • PS: 111

Both Tyrogue and all its evolutions are Fighting type, so they are weak to Flying, Psychic and Fairy types. On the other hand, they are resistant to Dark, Rock and Bug types.
